Record number of visitors at the Félsziget Festival in Transylvania
The Marosvásárhely-based Félsziget (Peninsula) Festival broke a visitor record: during the four days, a total of 72-73 thousand people visited the festival – told Camelia Lepedus Sisko, the press office staff of the festival to MTI on Monday.
The organizers were expecting 70 thousand visitors. This was required to make the festival profitable. The organizers' expectations were completed. Weather also played a significant role in the success, thanks to the warm, sunny weather – reports MTI.
