Visitors’ centre opened in Agard
The Visitors’ Centre of the Agard Palinka Distillery opened on October 12. The purpose of the HUF 70 million tourist facility is to demonstrate how premium pálinkas are made and consumed. Agard Distilery is famous for its premium fruit palinkas which have won numerous awards. – Agard Visitors’ Centre is an excellent example of how a valuable product can contribute to tourism and regional development – commented Jozsef Graf, minister of agriculture, the main sponsor of the event. The first palinka distillery established as a green field project in Hungary expects the Visitors’ Centre to generate revenues amounting to 30 per cent of its total income within two years.
