The growth in the economic performance of the euro area slowed in June, according to a survey by the IHS Markit Economics Research Institute carried out among Enterprise Purchasing Managers.

In June, the euro area service provider’s Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) dropped to the lowest level in five months to 55.4 points in June from the 56.3 points of May.

The June combined composite PMI decreased to 56.3 points from the 56.8 points of May. (MTI)
