Price increases in the euro area slowed down
Inflation in the euro area slowed down by 0.2 percentage point to 1.2 percent in February, while in the EU it declined by 0.1 percentage point to 1.6 percent, according to a Eurostat report released on Wednesday. h2 >
Inflation in the euro area was 1.5 percent last February and 1.6 percent in the EU.
Inflation in January was higher than in January in the 21 European Union Member States. Six countries have lower rates of annual consumer price increase and one has not changed. (MTI)
