Growth in retail sales in the Czech Republic slowed down
In October, retail sales growth in the Czech Republic declined to 3.4 percent year-on-year. In September, the figure has already been revised to 7.1 percent -the Czech Statistical Office annunced on Friday in Prague.
In October, the Czech population bought more clothes, computer equipment and food products than in the previous month. At the same time, fuel sales decreased by 0.3 percent. It was the second month since May this year, when fuel sales were down. (Kokes János, MTI)
