Growth in retail sales slowed in the Czech Republic
In September, the rate of growth in retail sales in the Czech Republic dropped to 1.4 percent, from the 4.2 percent in August – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) reported on Monday in Prague.
Traditionally, Internet sales and mail-order services expanded the fastest, by 16.7 percent, compared to September last year. The sales of IT and communications devices also grew rapidly, by 9.3 percent. (MTI, Kokes János)
