Decline in retail sales is slowing down in Croatia

In January 2013 the volume of retail sales fell by 5.3 percent in Croatia, compared to the previous year, which is less than the 6.1 percent decline of December – the statistics office (DZS) announced on Tuesday.
Turnover declined at current prices by 0.8 percent, compared to the previous year. The retail sales datas for January are more favorable than the 6.8 percent decline, forecasted by the analysts.
January is the eleventh consecutive month where annual retail sales decline was registered in Croatia. (MTI)
