Slackly developing on hypermarkets
According to Nielsen Research Company this year until November 11 new hypermarket were opened, last year, there were 17, two years before 15 new hypermarket opened its gates.
There are 115 hypermarkets now in Hungary, customers give 30%
of food costs in this kind of store out, the rate is higher, 39% at cleaners.
The average store size was almost 7200 sm last years, this year it is only
5500. Tesco opens this year several small hypermarkets in size 3,000 sm, the
smallest in category is 2937 sm, the biggest almost 20,000.
