Economic growth in the euro area and the EU slowed in the second quarter
Economic growth slowed in the European Union and the euro area in the second quarter. According to revised but not yet definitive data, Hungary achieved the highest economic growth in both quarterly and annual terms in the three months lasted at the end of June.
According to data released by the European Union Bureau of Statistics (Eurostat) on Friday, the seasonally adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the euro area and in the European Union increased by 0.2 percent in the three months under review. (MTI)
