Economic growth has slowed down in the EU and in the euro area as well
Economic growth has slowed throughout the European Union and the euro area in the first quarter of this year both in annual and monthly comparisons, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), in which data from the first estimate are presented.
According to seasonally adjusted data, the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.4 percent in both the euro area and the European Union in the first quarter of this year, compared to the previous quarter. (MTI)
