Slower Growth at Hell Energy, but stable export and strengthening EBITDA
Hell Energy Magyarország Kft. has reported a revenue increase for 2023, though the growth rate has slowed considerably compared to previous years. Revenue rose from 150 billion HUF in 2022 to 162 billion HUF in 2023, a growth of only 8%, compared to the 30-50% increases seen in earlier years.
Export revenues remain a significant part of the company’s income, constituting 58.4% of total revenues, with notable performance in EU countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia, and Croatia, as well as substantial revenues from India, Bosnia, and the United Kingdom. The financial indicators also show improvement, particularly in EBITDA, which increased from 18.5 billion HUF in 2022 to 28.8 billion HUF in 2023, marking a 56% rise. Taxed profits have also increased from 13 billion HUF to 15.5 billion HUF, nearly returning to the 2021 level of 15.6 billion HUF.
Hell Energy’s operations extend beyond just energy drink manufacturing and sales. The parent company includes four other businesses in its consolidated report, diversifying its revenue streams and stabilizing its financial position.
