Price increase slowing down
In June consumer prices augmented by 0.1 percent, totalling at 3.7 percent higher than in the same period of 2008. According to a report by KSH (Central Statistical Office), there was a 1.6 percent decrease in food prices, compared to data from May. Prices of seasonal food products lowered by 9.2 percent, but we had to pay more for alcoholic drinks, cigarettes (0.8 percent) and services (0.3 percent). Prices of consumer durables grew by the average.
