Euro area is slowing down
The preliminary estimates suggest that the growth in the euro area slowed in June, both in the the manufacturing and services sectors.
The performance of the manufacturing index was 55.6 points, after the 55.8 points of May – according to the estimations of Markit Institute. Analysts expected 58.0 points. The services index declined to 55.6 points from the 55.8 points of May, indicating a slowdown, compared to the previous month. Analysts expected 55.9 points.
