Credit card spendings slow down in Europe
According to the joint report of Visa Europe and Markit market research company; the population of the EU Member States spent 1.2 percent more in the third quarter of 2010, than in the same period of last year.
The datas show, that the slowest growth was recorded in the third quarter. This means that household consumption contributed in a minor extent to the GDP of the EU between the July to September period. In the first and the second quarter of the year, annual growth was 2.6 and 1.9 percent – reports penzcentrum.hu.
