OECD expects a slow recovery
OECD expects a 1.5 to 2.0 percent increase for the economy of the euro area in 2011 and a 1.75 to 2.25 percent for the United States. In its June forecast, the OECD expected 1.8 for the euro area and 3.2 percent for the United States.
According to the OECD, that brings together the economically advanced countries; the recovery from the crisis will be slower than expected. According top the organization's current forecast; for next year the OECD calculates only a 2.0 to 2.5 percent average growth rate, instead of the previously reported 2.8 percent for the 33 OECD countries – reports ProfitLine.hu.
