Slow building up behind peach and lemon

The annual ice tea market approaches the value of HUF 14 billion. Value sales in retail fell by 4 percent in February 2009-March 2010, compared with the previous twelve months. In terms of volume, Nielsen registered minus 12 percent. The share of market leaders lemon and peach slightly contracted, while smaller segments managed to grow. Private label ice tea’s share of the market was 26 percent last year and early this year. Stores with a 400 m² floor space or smaller are still the dominant sales channel.
