A scone-record will be attempted in Zánka
A Scone-record will be attempted in Zánka: they plan to fry the world's biggest scone. Its diameter will exceed 210 centimeters.
The current Guinness record for a scone is 12.7 kg, 210 cm diagonal and 5 cms high. The current Guinness record was set up in Mezőhegyes in 2008.
For the Guiness record breaking, 14 kilograms flour, 1 kgs of yeast, 10 liters of milk, 2 liters of oil, and 4 kgs of cooked potatoes will be used for the pasta and 0.2 kg salt and sugar will be added – Frikton Ildikó, the brand manager of Venus told MTI on behalf of the organizers. (MTI)
