Are you lactose intolerant or vegan? You can eat these delicacies with confidence
According to domestic data, milk sugar sensitivity, also known as lactose intolerance, now affects one in three Hungarians. It is no wonder, then, that domestic dairy product manufacturers try to serve the needs of those following special diets as well. Today, the selection of lactose-free foods on the market is increasing, and thanks to this, those suffering from lactose sensitivity do not have to give up a little delicacy.
Lactose sensitivity – which is caused by the lack of the lactase enzyme – affects more and more people these days. Lactase deficiency can occur both permanently and temporarily. It is perhaps a less well-known fact that as we age, the production of the lactase enzyme in our body decreases, so consuming lactose-free dairy products can also be a solution in such cases.
“Lactose-free products are made by adding the enzyme lactase, so they contain lactose in a broken down form, so they can be consumed by those who are sensitive to it. Their content value is the same as that of “normal” dairy products. Those following a lactose-free diet can already find the right ingredients for them in the Hulala product line, be it whipped cream, cooking cream or whipping cream spray. You can enjoy any course of the Christmas menu without cancellations”
– said István Monori, category manager of König-Units Kft., which distributes Hulala brand products.
Although the company has been distributing plant-based foam bases and cooking creams for more than twenty years, the Italian manufacturer of Hulala created its new product range in response to changing nutritional needs.
