FrieslandCampina Announces Partnership With United Dairymen Of Arizona
FrieslandCampina has announced a partnership with American dairy cooperative United Dairymen of Arizona (UDA) to step up the production of lactoferrin – a speciality ingredient required for early life nutrition products.
The partnership will result in the production of 10 tonnes of lactoferrin annually.
Lactoferrin is present in both cow’s milk and human milk, and studies show several potential health benefits, including anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
