Lactogal: Bio-based packaging for Mimosa milk
Portuguese dairy company Lactogal has introduced Mimosa low fat, skimmed, and whole milk in bio-based packaging in Portugal and Spain. The milk is available in new Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge 1L packaging, featuring carbon-trust certification. This step will result in reducing the company’s carbon footprint by 21 percent. The new packaging will reduce emissions by about 1.2 million kilograms of CO2 per year.
