Untaxes cigarettes were found in Budapest hidden into dog biscuit boxes
The National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) found more than 88,000 boxes of untaxed cigarettes in Budapest in a hired warehouse hidden in dog biscuit boxes – the NAV told MTI on Tuesday.
As they wrote, the financiers checked a leased warehouse in Budapest, checking the identity of the driver of the van in front of the warehouse and the tenant on the spot. When checking the warehouse, it turned out that cartons marked “dog biscuit” contain a large amount of cigarettes without a Hungarian tax return. (MTI)
