A Research Center is under construction in order to reach the full recycling of PET bottles

The Recy-Pet Hungária Kft., the new member of the BUSZESZ-Aquarius group will be completed next fall in the Industrial Park of Karcag. On the 26,500 square meter plot, a two-storey Innovation Centre will stand, with a net area of 4638 square meters. The foundation-stone ceremony took place on 25 October.

In the scope of the GOP-1.2.1-12/B-2012-0004 application, supported by the EU, the “FOOD GRADE” Food Waste Recycling PET Plastics Recycling Innovation Center mainly deal with the recycling of PET plastic waste. The technology developed on a common platform will be able to recycle any quality PET bottles with caps and vignettes. The technological development aims that 100 percent of the granules to be available to produce new PET bottles.
