Research institute: inflation in Germany may reduce in the second half of the year
According to ifo, one of the leading economic research institutes in the German-speaking world (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München), inflation is projected to slow down for the first time in a long time.
The institute’s so-called price expectation index, which shows the proportion of companies planning to raise prices over the next three months, fell from 61.8 points in April to 57.8 points in May. (MTI)
