PepsiCo built a research base in China
The world's second largest manufacturer of soft drinks, the PepsiCo opened its research center outside the United States on Tuesday.
The 40 to 45 million dollar investment aims to develop new products proper to local tastes as well as the marketing of company's products, beverages, snacks and chips.
The Shanghai facility is part of a three-year 2.5 billion USD expansion program, which PepsiCo carries out on the Chinese market. (MTI)
