They are looking for energy-saving heating solutions
30% of Hungarians lower the temperature in their houses, and 11% even turn off the heating due to energy prices – it was revealed from the representative research of Resideo.
The rates are similar in neighboring countries, 24% of the population in Romania, 16% in the Czech Republic, and 15% in Slovakia lowered the temperature at home. Resideo’s European survey also revealed that people would be open to renovating their heating system if it would pay off in the long term: 44% of Hungarians would consider this step.
As a result of the first signs of the energy price explosion, the companies offering heating solutions started looking for new solutions in order to meet the ever-increasing energy saving needs of consumers. According to Gábor Bognár, Resideo’s regional commercial director, this has now come to an end, several companies have come up with more modern and energy-saving heating controllers.
