Coupon fever in Hungary
Nearly half of Hungarians use coupons every month and many of them save more than HUF 5,000 on a single shopping occasion thanks to promotions, according to a representative survey conducted jointly by Etele Plaza and market research company Europion.

70% of those surveyed – on the occasion of the Etele Days – shop using coupons at least once a year. 48% of the respondents apply this type of discount every month, and one in four every week. Coupon use is the most popular among shoppers aged between 16 and 39. Respondents most often buy food (60%), drugstore products (45%), clothes and shoes (36%) and electronic goods (25%) in shopping malls. //
