Hungarians do not like to pay with card abroad
In the first half of this year, Hungarian visitors used their banking cards abroad only 5.57 million times in the, which is almost a fifth less than in 2013 – Világgazdaság wrote.
The amount spent in the stores did not reach 93 billion HUF, which is 7 percent less than a year ago. This data is particularly surprising, because according to the statistics of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) the frequency of card use abroad and the value of card purchases dynamically increased every year since 2010.
