KSH: the number of employees has increased further

During the three-month period from early May to the end of July, the average number of employees was 4 million 434 thousand, 62 thousand more than a year before.

Compared to the average of the previous three-month period, the number of employees increased by 14,000. The employment rate of the 15-64 year-olds increased by 1.5 percentage points to 68.3 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

The increase in the number of people aged 15-64 is due to the 34,000 decline in the number of unemployed and the 19,000 newcomers on the labor market, while the number of people in the age group decreased by 64,000 by 27,000 men and 37,000 women. (MTI)
