KSH: the turnover of commercial accommodations continued to increase

The number of guest nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 6.2 percent and by foreign visitors declined by 3.4 percent in October, compared with a year before. The traffic of commercial accommodations measured in total guest nights increased by 1.2 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Friday.

In the first ten months of the year, the commercial accommodations registered 6.0 percent more, 22 million 735 thousand overnight stays compared to the same period of last year.

In October, 1.8 percent more foreign guests spent 980 thousand nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary, compared with a year before. (MTI)
