KSH: the income situation of households improved further last year
The income situation of households continued to improve in 2017, but their consumption expenditures also increased – the Head of Department of Quality of Life Statistics of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in Budapest, at a press conference on the Situation of Households’ Living Standards in 2017.
Janák Katalin said that last year, the gross annual income per capita was 1 million 644 thousand forints, 9.3 percent higher than in the previous year, and net income was 1 million 300 thousand forints, which is an increase of 8.4 percent, compared to the year before. Real income grew by 5.9 percent, compared to 2016. (MTI)
