KSH: tourist attraction of the spas and the capital is still unbroken
The tourist attraction of spas and the capital is unbroken: based on the number of guest nights, the Hungarian settlement known for its spas has been one of the 10 most visited settlements next to Budapest in the last decade, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a statement sent to MTI.
The number of guest nights spent in accommodation establishments in Budapest has increased by 4.6 million since 2008, so in 2019 it already exceeded 10.7 million nights. Foreigners come to the capital mainly for tourism: foreign guest nights account for almost nine-tenths of all nights spent each year. (MTI)
