KSH: foreign tourists spend more
Although the number of foreign visitors did not change in the last quarter of 2013, compared to the same period of the previous year, their expenditures rose by 6.4 percent – the most recent International Tourism Demand publication of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) states.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in the final quarter of 2013, 9.8 million foreigners visited Hungary, which was equal to the datas of the same period of the previous year. In this period, the foreigners spent 283 billion HUF on current price, 6.4 percent more than in the same period of 2012. (MTI)
