KSH: more tourists came to Hungary last year

192 thousand more (3.2 percent) more foreign guests a total of 6.137 million foreign guests (2.3 percent more) spent 15.687 million overnight stays in commercial accommodation in 2019, compared to a year before.

The number of domestic guests increased by 0.8 percent to 6.659 million with 15,574 million overnight stays, 0.6 percent lower than a year before. The total number of guests increased by 2.0 percent to 12.796 million and the number of guest nights by 0.8 percent (250 thousand) to 31.261 million – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
