KSH: the number of employees increased by 110 thousand last year
The number of employees increased by 110 thousand last year to an annual average of 4 million 210 thousand, while the number of unemployed declined by 35.5 thousand to 307.8 thousand – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) pointed out that according to the latest European Union labor force survey data, in the third quarter of 2015 the 64.8 percent employment rate within the 15-64 year-old population was only 1.3 percentage points below the EU average, and Hungary is on the 15th place among the 28 member states in this matter.
