KSH: consumer prices increased by 0.4 percent last year
Consumer prices rose by an average 0.4 percent in 2016, compared to the previous year and in December were an average 1.8 percent higher than a year ago – the Central Statistical Office announced.
Compared to the previous month, prices increased by an average of 0.4 percent in December.
In December, the annual core inflation was 1.7 percent after 1.6 percent of November and 1.5 percent of October. The core inflation has not been so high for more than two years. (MTI)
