KSH: earnings grew by five percent in September
The gross average earnings increased by 5.0 percent, while the average net earnings by 6.4 percent in September, compared to a year earlier – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) told MTI on Wednesday. Real earnings – calculated with the September inflation of 1.4 percent – increased by 4.9 percent, by not calculating the effects of the family tax benefits.
In September this year, the average gross earnings of full-time employees were 224 thousand HUF.
Those who are working for companies earned an average of 232 thousand HUF, while those who are working in the public sector – not in the public employment – earned 231 thousand HUF, 3.8, and 10.9 percent more than the year before. (MTI)
