KSH: foreign trade turnover increased in September
After the halt in August, a revival occured in the foreign trade turnover in September: the value of export in euros increased by 5.8, while the value of import in euros rose by 5.0 percent, compared to a year earlier. The export surplus increased by 99 million euros to 953 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday on the basis of the first estimate.
In August, export value in euros decreased by 4.0 euros while the value of import in euros decreased by 0.6 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. The export surplus decreased by 217 million euros, compared to a year earlier.
In the first three quarters export increased by 4.2, imports by 4.4 percent, the export surplus increased by 119 million euros to 4.997 billion euros in annual comparison.
