KSH: Agriculural producer prices increased hardly in September
In September, agriculural producer prices were only 1.1 percent higher than a year before.
Cereals and fruit and vegetable prices have declined significantly, making crop and horticultural products on average 4.2 percent cheaper than last September. But the purchase price of live animals has risen by 13.4 percent, due to a 30.5 percent rise in the price of slaughter pigs, according to the latest data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
