KSH: the unemployment rate was 3.8 percent in September
In September, 185,000 people were without a job, the unemployment rate was 3.8 percent. In the three-month period from July to September, the average number of unemployed was 178,000, and the unemployment rate was 3.6 percent, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.

The value of the rate increased slightly in three regions
In July-September, the number of unemployed people aged 15-74 decreased by 11,000, and their unemployment rate by 0.3 percentage points compared to a year earlier.
The number of unemployed people aged 15-24 decreased to 34,000, and their unemployment rate decreased by 3.7 percentage points to 10.8 percent, although they accounted for 19.2 percent of all unemployed people.
The unemployment rate of the 25-54 age group was 3.2 percent, essentially unchanged (-0.1 percentage point), while that of the 55-74 age group rose by 0.3 percentage point to 3.0 percent, KSH reported.
