KSH: Guest traffic of the Hungarian commercial accommodations rose by 9.1 percent in October

In October 6.6 percent more guest spent 9.1 percent more guest nights at commercial accommodation, than a year earlier – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

335 thousand domestic guest spent 770 thousand guest nights at commercial accommodations, which is 44 percent of the total tourist traffic. The number of domestic guests increased by 4.9, the number of nights they spent increased by 9.4 percent compared to a year earlier.

In October, 378 thousand foreign guests spent 984 thousand guest nights at commercial accommodations, their number increased by 8.2, the nights they spent increased by 9.0 percent compared to last October. (MTI)
