KSH: the volume of retail sales increased by 2.5 percent in October
According to the flash estimate of KSH, the calendar-adjusted volume of retail sales increased by 2.5 percent in October this year, compared to the same period of 2012 -the Central Statistics Office (KSH) told MTI on Wednesday.
In food and food related retail, sales rose by 1.2 percent in October, compared with the 0.4 percent decline of September.
The non-food retail sector grew by 3.3 percent, compared to the same period of last year, after the 0.1 percent increase of September. The more than 3 percent rise has long been the highest value: Greater expansion occurred at non-food products, the last time in December 2011. (MTI)
