KSH: earnings grew by 12.8 percent in October
In October, gross average earnings were 295,800 forints, 12.8 percent more than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
The average net earnings without family discounts amounted to 196,700 forints, with discount it is estimated at 204,600 forints.
Calculating with the 2.2 percent inflation in October, the annual rise in real wages was 10.4 percent in October. In the first ten months of the year, the gross and net average earnings increased by 12.8 percent, which corresponds to a 10.1 percent real wage increase, calculating with a 2.4 percent inflation.
