KSH: retail sales increased by 5.2 percent in November
Due to the incresae of fuel sales the volume of retail sales showed the same 5.2 percent increase in November as in October – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on the basis of the first estimation. The calendar-adjusted and unadjusted datas are the same.
The annual comparision of fuel sales accelerated to 8.5 percent in November from the 6.5 percent growth of October, while the growth of food sales declined from 3.7 percent to 3.4 percent. The sales growth of non-food products decreased from 6.6 per cent to 5.8 percent from October to November.
The 5.2 percent rise of the retail sales in October and November is the highest data since April. (MTI)
