KSH: fuel and food prices have driven up inflation in November
Consumer prices in November rose by 0.7 percent from the previous month and are 4.3 percent above the level of a year earlier. Primarily the fuel and food prices affected inflation in the eleventh month – published the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Tuesday . Analysts expected 4.1 to 4.7 percent annual inflation.
Food prices rose by 1.2 percent in a month, the 3.4 percent price increase of vehicle fuel also affected inflation. The decisive factor at fuel was the 13 HUF per liter excise tax increase of gasoline – reports MTI.
