KSH: industrial production fell by 5.4 percent in November compared to the same period of the previous year and by 2.0 percent compared to the previous month
In November 2025, the volume of industrial production fell by 5.4 percent compared to a year earlier. The index adjusted for working day effects is the same as the unadjusted index, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Monday based on its first estimate.
Based on seasonally and working day adjusted data, industrial output was 2.0 percent lower than in October 2025.
The volume of production in the vast majority of manufacturing sub-sectors decreased compared to the same month of the previous year, the KSH noted.
Among the sub-sectors with the greatest weight are the manufacture of computers, electronics, optical products, and food, beverages and tobacco products production expanded, while there was a decline in vehicle production and electrical equipment production.
Industrial production in the first eleven months of the year was 3.5 percent lower than in the same period in 2024.
The Central Statistical Office will publish detailed data on industrial production for November on Thursday, January 15, based on its second estimate.
