KSH: the cattle population has grown, the number of pigs has decreased
Over the past year, cattle grew by 18,000, the sheep stock with 6,000, while the number of pigs decreased by 37,000 pigs and the humber of hens by 183,000 – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The growth of cattle lasts since 2010 has continued, reaching 870,000. Cattle grew by 12,000 to 395,000 in one year.
The number of hens was 32 million 844 thousand, 183 thousand fewer than one year before. The stock of sheep was 11 million 188 thousand, which is a decrease of 252 thousand in a year – KSH told. (MTI)
