KSH: the number of registered companies increased last year
According to the Central Statistics Office (KSH), at the end of last year 1 million 703 thousand registered businesses were in Hungary, which is 15 thousand more than a year before. The increase is due to the about 27 thousand increase in the number of self-employed, while the number of corporations decreased by about 12 thousand.
According to the statistics mirror publication of the KSH on 31 December 2014, approximately 1 million 115 thousand self-employed, and 588 thousand enterprises were in Hungary.
The total numberof registered business entities at the end of last year exceeded 1 million 845 thousand, 18 thousand more than a year earlier. The number of non-profit organizations was 127 thousand, 2.5 thousand more compared to 2013. (MTI)
