KSH: a moderate increase in foreign trade
In the first quarter of this year, the volume of exports was 1.6 higher, while imports was 0.9 percent higher than the level of the previous year – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday. According to the datas, exports in euros fell 0.8 by percent, while imports increased by 1.2 percent.
The value of exports in January-March 2012 was 19,975 million Euros (5,934 billion HUF), the value of imports was 18,229 million euros (5,421 billion HUF).
The trade balance surplus was 1,746 million euros (513 billion), 383 million euros (65 billion HUF) less than in the first quarter of 2011. (MTI)
