KSH: a sharp increase in the number of foreign tourists in March

In March, 17.3 percent more foreign tourists spent 20.5 percent more overnight stays in commercial accommodations in Hungary, compared to the previous year – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

In March, 293 thousand foreign guests spent 781 thousand guest nights in commercial accommodations.

The 287 thousand domestic guests spent 630 thousand guest nights in commercial accommodations in March, their number increased by 5.2 percent, the number of nights they spent increased by 1.9 percent compared with March last year.  (MTI)
