KSH: a revival of foreign trade in July
Exports in euros increased by 9.2 percent, while imports increased by 9.0 percent in July, compared to a year ago, after the previous month's 6.0 percent and 5.2 percent increase – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported in its second estimate released on Thursday.
In the first estimate released on 8 September, the exports in euros increased by 8.4 percent, while imports increased by 7.9 percent. Because of the change in the estimate the export surplus of July declined slightly from 498 million euros to 482 million euros, which is 50 million more than a year ago. (MTI)
